Step into one of Australia's most breathtaking natural wonders on an unforgettable journey through Paluma Range National Park, part of the UNESCO-listed Wet Tropics World Heritage Area.
Experience the astonishing diversity that makes North Queensland so special as you explore lush, ancient rainforest filled with unique wildlife, towering trees, crystal-clear creeks, and incredible natural beauty.
Keep your eyes peeled as you immerse yourself in the bush. Wallabies and scrub turkeys are common sightings, and with a little luck, you may even spot a cassowary or a platypus in the wild.
Participants will meet at McClelland's Lookout Car Park, where they will be welcomed by their Eco-Certified Guide before beginning an immersive three-hour guided rainforest experience through this spectacular environment.
Throughout the tour, your passionate and knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights into the region's history, ecosystems, native flora and fauna, conservation efforts, and the cultural significance of the Wet Tropics.
The experience also includes a visit to Cloudy Creek, where guests have the opportunity to swim in ancient crystal-clear rainforest waters. Please note there are no change room facilities in the rainforest. Many guests choose to wear their swimwear underneath their clothing and bring a lightweight, quick-dry towel for convenience.
This experience is designed for nature lovers, adventurers, photographers, and anyone wanting to connect with the wild heart of Queensland in an authentic and meaningful way.
