Dad & His Wildlings Weekend is a two-night, fully catered nature escape created especially for dads and their sons and/or daughters to step away from the chaos of everyday life and spend some genuine, uninterrupted time together.

Hidden away in the North Queensland bush, this weekend is about switching off, getting outdoors and making memories through the simple things — exploring the rainforest, swimming beneath waterfalls, searching for wild platypus, heading out after dark on a nocturnal wildlife safari, sitting around the campfire and simply having time to talk, laugh and be together.

From the moment you arrive on Friday afternoon, we take care of the details. Accommodation, meals, guided adventures and wildlife experiences are all organised, so Dad doesn’t have to spend the weekend planning, cooking or trying to keep everyone entertained.

There’s also plenty of downtime. This isn't about filling every minute with scheduled activities. It's about slowing down, letting the kids explore and giving dads the chance to be completely present with their Wildlings.

Accommodation

Stay in your own cosy Rustic Cabin with private ensuite, featuring a double bed, single bed and bunk beds. Cabins can comfortably accommodate 4–5 guests, perfect for Dad and his Wildlings.

Meals

Enjoy hearty, family-friendly main meals, fully prepared and catered for you — so Dad can relax, skip the cooking and enjoy more quality time with his Wildlings.

Activities

Adventure through rainforest, swim in waterfalls, search for wild platypus, explore after dark on a wildlife safari and enjoy plenty of time outdoors together.
